Register on our website and leave a request for the purchase of a car, after which our manager will contact you. Or you can contact a representative of our company yourself.
We will help you find a car that suits your needs, or we will provide you with access to auctions to search for it yourself.
Having decided on the model and price, our company concludes an official contract with you for the purchase and delivery of a car from the USA. To do this, you need to make an advance payment. The advance payment is 10% of the approximate cost of the car.
Car price + auction fee for the purchase + delivery cost to our warehouse in the USA + delivery of the vehicle to the place of receipt specified in the contract.
- The price of the car is set by you.
- The auction fee is determined by the auction and depends on the value of the car.
- See the table for approximate shipping costs to a US warehouse.
- The cost of delivery to the place of receipt depends on the country of the recipient and the size of the car.
After buying a car or other equipment at an auction, you will receive an invoice for payment, which includes: the purchase price of the vehicle at the auction and the auction fee. Payment must be made on the next working day after the purchase of the car. This will allow us to pay for the car within 3 days and avoid penalty payments. At many auctions, penalty payments are charged as early as 3 days after purchase, at $50 per day. Please be prepared to pay in full.
It should be noted that loading a car into a container is an important and crucial stage. How does it happen? There is a ramp at the exporter’s site, to which a container truck with an empty container drives up. Loading it requires several trained workers, wooden planks and beams, nails, winches and a forklift (Fork Lift).
Transportation regulations require vehicles to be drained of all fluids and battery terminals disconnected. To ensure the safety of the car, the following actions are often performed:
- the wheels are removed (in this case, the mounting bolts will lie in the pocket of the driver’s door, and the wheels themselves will be in the trunk of the car);
- floor mats are glued to the edge of the hood/roof;
- some of its elements are removed (antennas, spoilers, etc., which are placed in the cabin or trunk);
Cars that move independently drive into the container under their own power. But emergency and those with removed wheels are loaded into a container using a loader. For these purposes, a special loader with elongated forks is used. There is no other way to load such cars into a container yet.
High quality wooden boards and beams are used to fasten the cars in the container. Its design solutions allow you to securely fix wooden elements. The upper machine is additionally fixed with chains for special ears in the ceiling of the container. Also, the chains are attached to the hub of the car, which lies on wooden beams (front and rear], and is additionally insured with 4 chains, each of which is able to withstand a weight of one ton. The lower car is fixed with wooden blocks, which are nailed to the floor. Blocks exclude moving the car through the container in all directions.The technique has been worked out for years and does not fail.
Tall and large cars on two floors cannot be loaded. Therefore, one car drives into the container, and a flyover is mounted above it, on which another car is placed.
After loading the car into a container, it is transported to the port terminal, then it is placed in a container container ship and will sail to the port of destination.
5. Sea delivery.
Immediately after sending the container, you will be given the container number, as well as the name of the ship on which it sails. On our site there are links to resources where you can trace the entire path of your container by sea.
Transportation of the container by sea is carried out by special vessels – container ships.
A container ship (sea vessel) is a specialized cargo vessel for the carriage of cargo in homogeneous enlarged cargo units – containers (TEU). In maritime container transportation, standard ISO containers are mainly used. As a rule, the crew of a container ship consists of 10-26 people, since such ships are extremely automated.
By design, the holds of a container ship have vertical guides (cell guides) for the installation and fastening of containers. Containers must be secured with twistlocks, which are installed at the bottom corners of each tier to prevent horizontal and vertical movement of the containers. In addition to this, vertical and diagonal fasteners (short, long lashing bars/rods) can be used. Containers may also “overhang” hatch covers or other ship structures, provided that they do not protrude beyond the bounds of the ship’s sides. The condition of sufficient visibility from the navigation bridge determines the maximum number of tiers of containers that can be installed on the deck.
After unloading all vehicles in the container, customs officers will inspect the vehicle.
On the same day after paying the customs duty, you receive all the necessary documents for the car and can pick it up.
